Thai Express

My tummy is  growling again.. :D  And it's  time to go jalan-jalan cari makan as i got a partner to accompany  me. An off day  for me..means  no cooking ! Wow weee... Thinking for something simple and not to heavy  but sedap of course.. I had Thai  food in my mind.
Located along Holland Village Market and Food Centre , Thai Express is not difficult to  find. We came as early as 11 o'clock but the shop is still close.  So we decided to strolled around the famous  Holland V .  It is one of the most happening eating out  area in central Singapore and popular place for expatriate to hang out.
I decided to had Phat Thai here which is  a Thai's  famous fried noodle rich with  sour, sweet and nutty taste.  This unique combination really boost the noodle's flavor and it's really delicious.
I tried Phat Thai for the first time at one of the Thai restaurant in Dallas and loved it. Eventhough Thai Express is not a pure traditional dish but from my point of view the food here  is okay.
Since we're here in Thai Restaurant i ordered Thai Tea , the strong orange beverage and it is very sweet. Quite similar with our 'teh tarik' back  home but this beverage they added some spices such as star anise, tamarind, cardamon as an optional. Very interesting drink if you dare to try !
